About Vienna , GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Vienna is a small and charming southern town. The weather in the area is hot in the summers and cooler in the winter but the climate is generally moderate and nice.  There’s hot enough weather in the summer for the pool and just enough snowfall in the winters to give kids a chance to break out the sleds.  Georgians are known for their hospitality, their peaches and their delicious down home cooking but you must not forget that this part of the world has so much to offer in the way of American history.  The marks of the antebellum south as well as the Civil Rights Movement and agricultural history are all over this part of America.  If you are in the area, you should most definitely make a point to check out some of the local historical buildings.

Vienna, founded in 1841, is named after the Austrian capital.  However, it is pronounced phonetically (“Vy-enna”).   No matter the season, you must take a stroll, or a drive, through the community.  A quick tour of the downtown area will have you hooked on this adorable little town.  Find fine antiques, unique collectibles, beautiful historic homes and buildings, and, of course, delicious food!  If you are a lover of southern cooking then Vienna is an important stop.  They are such a BBQ landmark that they host the BIG PIG JIG®, Georgia's official Barbeque Cooking Championship, each and every year.

All of downtown Vienna is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A huge part of that same area is ALSO a Local Historic District (looked after by the Vienna Historic Preservation Commission). If it is a cool day, take a self-guided driving tour to see it all!  Prettier day?  Walk some, or all, of it.  Grab a $5.00 tour booklet at the Vienna City Hall or the Georgia Cotton Museum.
