About Perry, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Perry is a Georgia town that is literally bursting with history, charm and beauty. Georgians can tell you that their state is special, but when you visit you can see for yourself. Southern culture is based around a slower pace, hospitality and proper manners. The weather in the area is hot in the summers and cooler in the winter but the climate is generally moderate and nice. There’s hot enough weather in the summer for the pool and just enough snowfall in the winters to give kids a chance to break out their gloves and knit hats. It’s the best of both worlds.
This part of the world has so much to offer that it is hard to know where to begin, but no matter what you will need to make a point to check out some of the local historical buildings. This is the home of so much history. Some of the best moments in American history have happened in this part of the nation. There have also been some darker points in history that have played out in Georgia. While in the area, you can (and should) the traces of the Antebellum south as well as the Civil Rights history.
Perry is the location of the annual Georgia National Fair, an 11-day event which was first held in 1990 attracts an annual average of over 440,000 visitors. There is a great deal to do and the fair offers a wide range of activities and shows. It is family-friendly and geared toward all types of people and age groups. Events and activities include: a circus, midway rides and games, live music concerts and nightly fireworks. All of this in the month of October, when the weather is just cool enough to be comfortable but not too cold just yet.
