About Leesburg , GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Leesburg is a part of a special southern culture that can only be found in certain parts of the country. Georgians can tell you that this state is special.  There is something different about the culture in this part of the country that makes you feel at home, no matter how much of a stranger you are.   People in this part of the world know their neighbors and it’s easy to be out and about getting acquainted.  This is because the weather in the area is generally moderate and walks, jogs, bike rides and some good old fashioned “front porch sitting” are all possible for the majority of the year.

When it comes to food, this part of the world is known for the peaches and the delicious down home cooking.  However, within the town of Leesburg you will find an array of eclectic and delicious dining options.  Whether you are in mood for pizza, sashimi tuna or a cheeseburger; Leesburg has something for you. Whether you are popping in for a quick light lunch and a sweet tea in the summer or settling in for a comfort cooking meal to warm you from the cool of winter, you can find just the right establishment in Leesburg.

This is the home of so much history.  Some of the best moments in American history have happened in this part of the nation.  There have also been some darker points in history that have played out in Georgia.  While in the area, you can (and should) the traces of the Antebellum south as well as the Civil Rights history.  The Civil Rights Era, in particular, was a time of great turmoil and violence in this part of the state. The area was significant in the Civil War, as well, but the 1950s and 1960s saw a great deal of unrest in Leesburg and the surrounding communities.  A store was bombed in the uptown area of nearby Americus in 1957 and MLK, Jr. spent a night in the city’s jail 4 just years later. Though this history is unfortunate, it is still valuable to understand what happened and be aware of how American culture has changed.  Towns like these give you the opportunity to do that.
